Students are able to collaborative with other classrooms in their own school or across the country. These projects are safe because they are monitored at all times. Students are taught what is appropriate to incorporate into their projects and what is not. Students are also able to be creative in these projects. They can be creative when it comes to customizing their learning environment. Projects have also been created for parents using Flat Classroom Project. Assigning these types of projects to students helps them become engaged in their learning. These projects also provide students with a skill that they will be able to use throughout their life.
